It functions as an enterprise platform aimed at empowering both entrepreneurs and consumers through trade facilitation, capacity building, network development, and financial inclusion. The platform enables small and medium-sized enterprises to conduct local and cross-border transactions, establish trade networks, acquire digital marketing skills pertinent to the 21st century, and access a broad spectrum of financial services, including credit and insurance products.

Designed to serve both B2B and B2C markets, Moja functions as a multifunctional ecosystem accessible via a smartphone. The platform integrates several components: Moja Marketplace—a culturally adapted and innovative trading environment; Moja University—an online learning portal; and Moja Connect—a professional social networking tool. Currently available in Ghana, Moja intends to expand to additional African countries in the near future.
